Are you referring to the song from the musical Les Misérables? If so, it was written in French by Alain Boublil and composed by Claude-Michel Schönberg. It was translated (and rewritten) into English by Herbert Kretzmer

Other songs called "Who Am I?" were performed by artists including Beenie Man, Petula Clark, Snoop Doggy Dogg, and Will Young. We could identify which one it is if you were a bit more specific; can you at least list some of the lyrics?
