Yes, you can. However, using Windows Firewall by itself is sufficent. Installing Norton on top of it and running that Firewall is nothing but overkill and will slow down your machine significantly. Stick with the built in features in Windows and you'll be fine.

I don't know which Nortons you have, but my '06 Nortons won't work on Vista.

I am assuming you can but you really don't want to use any Norton program. All of them are over-bloated crap that takes up way too many resources. You can get alternative programs for free that do just as good of a job and don't take up nearly as many resources.
