2 Xbox360 Questions?

Question

I have two questions about my Xbox 360. One is, Am I still under warranty? The manufatcuring date is 12-18-2005 and it was bought about a week before Xmas of that year. It was a gift to me and I think it was bought at Wal*Mart. No extra warranty included from them. My second question is, how would I take it apart? I want to get different cooling, case, etc...etc...if the warranty is up so I wouldn't void anything. Thanks!

Looks like 1 year on the console.

why take it apart take it to some one who will do it for you
