Is it against the Texas labor laws to not hire someone based on their parents prior work history there?

    Well I hope employers have some rights. They can hire whoever they want, it is their call.

    An employer can pretty much not hire someone for whatever reason they want. Employees are protected from being discriminated against and being fired. They are not protected against being not hired.
