Freezing slows down the movement of molecules and boiling increases it. Freezing changes the state of matter to a solid from a liquid and boiling changes it to a gas from a liquid.

Freezing is the amount of energy that is required to turn a liquid substance into a solid subtance as by slowing down the molecules. Boiling is the amount of energy required to turn a liquid substance into a gas as by speeding up the molecules.

Freezing makes the molecules <motionless>, just stop dead and FREEEEZE!
Boiling makes the little molecules get all excited from <energy> and start boucing around the place like ZOOOOOOOOOOM like loonies.
But, of course, in your work write it a little more professionally than that :P

when you freeze something it becomes a solid (the molecules come closer togethor and can't move around) and when you boil something it becomes a gas (the molecules spread out and can move freely)
