Clorafram is the correct spelling. And they are not issued normally. The shoes issued are regular leather shoes that you have to polish. Clorafram's can be bought on your own so you don't have to worry about the polishing anymore, just the scuffs you get instread.

Corfam is the name of the shoes, referring to the shiny plastic which resembles highly polished leather. The good thing about them is that they don't need shining, just wiping off. The bad thing, because it's not regular leather, when you are standing on hot pavement during the summer, your feet get VERY hot wearing them.

Coroframs are "cheater" low quarters...the government doesn't issue them. They look like plastic low quarters. Low quarters look amazing when polished.
