    Lansing is state prison

    Leavenworth is a federal prison

    Larned is for criminally insane

    Kansas Diagnostic Center in Topeka

Topeka also has a large juvenile detention center

Hays has a small minimum security center

I know there must be others but can't think of them right now. There's a woman's prison in Beloit.
