my anti virus lists Boot sector C and D - unknown status - what does that mean?

The results of my scan were Boot Sector C - unknown status and Boot Sector D - unknown status. I don't recall anything being listed before. What does this mean?

This means that for some reson the anivirus can't read the boot sector on drives C and D. could be from corruption or a virus.

Your antivirus subscription might have expired. Try using some other antivirus after uninstalling the current one
