How to make grandparents your legal dependents on paper for the Veterans Affair?

Grandparents ( 80's) who live with us and we give financial support that includes shelter, food, healthcare, and similar necessities. Will an Affidavit of Support be sufficient or would I need to go to a lawyer?

One person confuses the Internal revenue service with veteran's affairs. Veteran's affairs should have a counselor or ombudsman to help with this issue, as to what their requirements are.

there are dissimilar issues that dictate what the VA can do. for one the treatment you get or would no longer be in a position to get relies upon lots on earnings. Even retired vets would no longer be in a position to get a lot if any help because of earnings, a number of suggested what would take position with the arriving election and there are some applicants who will if some thing bypass the damaging way yet what can a president do? they could propose variations yet its as a lot as congress to make the variations. Presidents get the blame for some thing that is going incorrect at the same time as its congress that causes maximum of that. The VA needs dissimilar variations and some are taking position. an similar individual who grow to be operating Walter Reed does no longer even enable card for Christmas to bypass to VA sufferers there ( for a soldier type playing cards) conventional health care shouldn't harm dissimilar vets which at the instantaneous are on deepest insurance. The medical occupation has the type of run away on prices that some thing must be done. Take basically the added cost to an OB/GYN medical professional for malpractice, a minimum of 50,000 a three hundred and sixty 5 days. this receives handed on so having a touch one is fairly on the pricy aspect. i'm no longer particular there is fairly an answer anymore short of eliminating congress and starting up over

No. You can claim anyone as a dependent on your tax returns as long as you provide support for that person.

Remember, there's a check box on the tax return that specifically asks if you can be claimed as a dependent on anyone elses tax return.

The IRS doesn't care how you slice and dice it as long as you only claim that which you are entitled and not more.

You more than likely should speak to an attorney. You may need to prove guardianship and/or conservatorship to claim them as your legal dependents.
