In a 1976 Playboy interview, Carter stated that he lusted after other women in his heart. As Governor of Georgia, he once reported a UFO hovering above the Governor's mansion. It turned out to be a State Police helicopter on routine patrol. As president, he once insisted the secret service agents protecting him beat a rabbit to death. None-the-less, Carter was a man of peace who did the best job he could do under the bizarre events that occured during his presidency.

He was quite possibly the most intelligent president since Jefferson. Unfortunately, intelligence is but one quality a man needs in order to be a good president, and President Carter posessed very few of those other qualities.

He has a degree in nuclear physics from the United States Naval Academy...they don't just hand those out like dollar bills at a nudie bar.

In the mid 1990’s Howard Stern’s former “ambush interviewer”, one “Stuttering” John Melendez, somehow was able to get access to the former President at some public event. “Stuttering” John asked him some horrible questions like, “why does everyone love Clinton when they hated you” and “do you still get hot for your wife”? Normally celebs would pitch a fit and embarrass themselves, much to the delight of Stern and company when they replayed the interview on his show. Carter stayed cool however and answered each question as if it was a serious interview. Afterwards “Stuttering” John was left nearly speechless, quietly said thank you and left.

I think he was one of only a handful of truly honest Presidents - and they ate him alive in Washington. He served his country with distinction, was a nuclear engineer, was honest about himself. He is the ONLY president that has done anything productive since his presidency ended. His efforts in Habitat for Humanity is indicative of the quality of the man. He is the best peace negotiator alive today. His writings are inspiring and wonderful.

When he describes himself, he says he is just a Sunday School teacher which shows just what a humble man he is..

He made the correct link between Israeli policy towards Palestinians and Apartied. The reason people get mad is that according to Additional Protocol I to the 1949 Geneva Conventions as well as the Statute of the International Criminal Court, "practices of apartheid" constitute war crimes.

Thus, Israel is participating in war crimes, not to mention subtle genocide and land theft.
