I filed my taxes online through H & R Block on Feb 1 and when I last checked the status of my refund on the IRS website, it said Feb 20. Right now the site is down and says to check back later, but just so you know, they update their info on Monday night, sometime between midnight and 3AM so you can check your status again on Tuesday morning to get a direct deposit date. I believe ours will be the same---Feb 16--according to this-

    IRS efile refund chart:

    http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p2043.pdf

The problem is that unless you filed BEFORE 11AM on Feb 1 then your refund will not be in the group that is deposited Feb 9th. I was upset when I saw that I only missed getting my refund this weekend, instead of next, by just several hours!

By the way, here's the IRS website you can check the status of your refund at too:

    https://sa1.www4.irs.gov/irfof/lang/en/irfofgetsta...

Hopefully this site will be back up soon. Hope that helps!

i'm interior of an same boat as you. I filed on Jan. 19 commonplace on Jan. 21. swifter tax reported go back date became Feb. a million as well because the chart yet WMR says predicted DD of Feb. 7. I talked to IRS man or woman and he or she reported there's a postpone on each person who filed on or earlier Jan. 25 and refunds are in the back of agenda a week which factors me the date of Feb. 7 not the first. also deposits are done well-known now insted of purely Fridays as earlier. I also went on the WMR website and it did not note of my SS# yet after I observed as the WMR telephone volume and placed my information in it became there. imagine something is erroneous on-line. wish this helps, i'm stressing to i became searching ahead to my funds today.

Go to www.irs.gov and then type in "Where's my refund?" to the search box

It will give you a section of the site in which you input your filing status and expected refund and it will tell you when you should have it by. I assume you did direct deposit!

I filed mine using turbotax.com on 1/27 and i received MY refund on 2/9--- so I think perhaps you will get it next week.

They give you an approximate date, based upon past history. Sometimes it takes a little longer, espcially now with more people filing online early. If you are receiving a check (not direct desposit) then you have to add 3-5 business days for mail.

If you don't have it by the end of the month, then I would say to give them a call.

Did you send in the form 84 something OL where you agree to have the refund direct deposited? You actually believe the government too huh?? Wanna buy a bridge to nowhere??

I have filed mine on-line for the past five years and have never gotten my refund deposited to my account in less than fourteen days. It is still better than waiting six to eight weeks.

call the IRS and when the prompt says "Has it been more that 8 weeks since you filed for your refund?"...click on yes...then you get to talk to a person to see if your paperwork has been recieved into the system.

I understand how you feel. I'm waiting too. The IRS hotline says my money was credited to my bank account also. I think the IRS had delays/problems with their system. You may see it by Monday, which is the next business day.

Give it until March. There's no way that the IRS can process your taxes in that short amount of time.
