how many calories would i burn if i walk up and down hill, fast pce for 1 hr and 45 min?
and is this a good or bad thing to do every day if i work hard at the gym 4 to 5 times a week?

its is good for your heart to walk up hill......try jogging fast up hill

It all depends on your weight and effort (hear rate or watts).
Going up will be with more effort (higher HR), going down will be lower effort, unless you are using a HR monitor and keep it at the same level. Anyway, I'd say roughly 250-450 calories per hour.
What do you do at the gym? I assume your motivation to go up and down the hill is to burn calories. If that's the case, I don't think the hill is necessary at all. I think you'll probably burn the same calories if you walk on the flat somewhere.
