There are lots of online tutoring services, but if you're an IT guru, I'm not sure if teaching a junior high student how to copy and paste would really satisfy you. If you truly enjoy fixing computers or helping people at the desktop support level, you could send some flyers around the neigborhood to see if anyone's interested.

Otherwise, if you'd like to tutor some college level IT students, check out the local colleges and universities. You'll see tutoring opportunities posted on bulletins or there may be a service you can get paid for.

Finally, if you really want to pursue tutoring kids, try applying to one of the tutoring sites like http://www.tutor.com/ At the bottom of that site, there's an Apply Now link to help you get started.

Good luck! (and also, you're welcome. Yours is the first post I've seen that said thank you. :)

It s pretty incredible to think about how much online tutoring has changed over the past ten years; the options are seemingly boundless, so narrowing down your choices can be tough.

I recommend trying Skooli.com. Information Technology is currently listed as a subject on Skooli s site and Skooli is in need of tutors to teach IT.

I also recommend seeing the Quora page at https://www.quora.com/What-are-some-of-the-genuine... for more information on popular online tutoring sites.
