How can we stop the global warming and the problem of scarcity of resources?

Of all I've read about Global Warming this sums it up the best:

Well, that's actually two questions. On global warming lets make the totally absurd assumption that some how we could control the average global temperature. Which of course would have to be true if we can actually cause global warming. Then who would control the thermostat. There are no doubt places where the residents wouldn't mind if it was just a little warmer. And probably just as many that live in places they wouldn't mind if it was just a little cooler. I've seen some pretty serious conflicts break out over control of the office thermostat in a business with a handful of employees. I can barely imagine the battles that would result over the control of the "global thermostat". I think we're better off not being able to control it.
As for the allocation of scarce resources that is a problem that has plagued mankind since the begining of time. Luckly for us the last 6,000 years or so we have recorded history to review all the various schemes that have been used to accomplish that task. And I can say with absolute certainty that what has worked best is to allow resources to be used by those who value them the most and are willing to demonstrate that by paying the highest price for them. To insure that the this flow continues it has be proven to be necessary to allow those who harvest and distribute these resources and convert them into usable form to keep the profits from this effort. Its called free enterprize and has worked everytime its tried.
Glad I could be of help.

It was 10 degrees below zero when I woke up this morning. It is now 2 degrees below zero. Yep, it warmed up by 8 degrees! This is global warming?
Actually, the whole global warming scare is right up there with the Swine Flu panic decades ago. Consider who would profit from correcting a problem that does not really exist. Ask yourself if there are scientists who would back a wacko theory if there was sufficient profit involved. (Before you deny that could happen, consider your beliefs about pharmaceutical companies. They invest in research and there is no end of people who believe that they are ripping off the people.)
As to scarcity of resources...Invest in ADM. They have found ways to feed the world through advancements in farming and food processing.
Whatever scarcity you wish to address, remember that the private sector can always provide a better and less expensive solution than any government can. Find the proper motivation, and the market will find a way to serve the need.

The proof is in the ICE. Look at the Antartic ice and you examine the data. For every Ice Age there has been a corresponding action in the ice. For every instance of global warming, there has been a corresponding CO2 increase. Measured precisely the two are proportional to each other. For the ages that this earth has been here, there has never been an increase this fast in CO2 and this high. It started somewhere at the beginning of the 19th century...hmmmmm. Earth's once large forests could usually breath large volumes of CO2 and compensate for an increase....but we have been cutting every damn forest to nothing for decades... NO denying man's involvement in Global warming is the real disaster.
I will add to this (the above was from another post that I answered).
If you really (those nay sayers) believe that it is not happening, do us all a favor and at least evaluate the science. Or you could just stick your head in the sand and hope the earth doesn't scorch your butt!
Watch the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" .....Should you not at least keep an open mind if you profess to be wise?

It amazes me, that with all the computers and the Internet, people only get their "news" from the media! We can stop global warming only by ignoring it, then it will go away. CO2 is not evil, the earth needs it to survive. No one knows what excess CO2 really is. Parts of the world has record heat, other parts record cold, why isn't this little fact ever published by the mainstream media? All the alarms over hurricanes, floods, heat, cold, etc., all comes under the term "weather".

CO2 problem is taken care of by plants. Photosynthesis
the methane problem can't be prove . Methane is a very light gas and will rise very high ,now how do u prove that it is up there . U can not measure it so prove it. I can prove that it is not there. methane is very explosive and if there was a huge lake in the upper atmosphere it would of exploded when we launched our first mussel through it.

Global warming is a farce and you need not worry about it.
