What is a chef's ring?
Could anyone provide me with a picture/details of what a Chef's ring is please?

as far as I know it is a molding ring (like the sides of an oven pan but without the bottom part) that you can use for cake making for taking out the cake easily.

Chef's ring is a form which can be used for making desserts, but is usually used for making eggs and other round pan fried items.
The ring is metal, and usually has a handle which can be lifted by a fork or tongs.
