how do i get rid of yahoo messenger?

I've no idea how you'll find this answer if you're so new to computers that you don't know how to uninstall a program you've installed but here goes nothing. :)

I'll assume you're running windows XP (Since you didn't say what you're using) and say this:

click start button

click control panel

click add/remove programs

scroll down list to see the yahoo program(s) that are installed

click entry and click uninstall

click appropriate buttons on prompts when they happen

Repeats as necessary for other yahoo programs on the list that you wish to remove.

its pretty easy go to Control panel then click on add or remove programs when it loads all prgrams from your computer scroll down to yahoo messanger and click remove then just follow the instructions

Do you have a PC or MAC? What is your OS - Windows XP, 2000, etc.?
