    When we evolved from being primative!

    After all if we wouldn't have a God belief what would women call out to during sex???

    in every instance of recorded history there is mention of a higher power ... so at least 6-7000 years ...

    By this do you mean the ONe True God? God revealed himself to Abraham -- other peoples before him were all polytheists. Abraham was the first monotheist. It was a gradual revelation -- not a thunderbolt that struck him.
