I myself am subject to random alcohol testing, and am a whiskey drinker. What I've done in the past is go at least 8 hours, and DRINK PLENTY OF WATER! (Drinking a large glass of water also helps the morning after hang-over...as well as flush the alcohol out of your system. Hope this helps. ( I also do not drive ) and oh yeah, you will have the pee in a cup test, I believe, although they take awhile to get results back. You will need to do the same things I mentioned above ~ if you must do the dreaded breathalyser < ( I hit spell check, and it implied that breathalyser is spelled correctly!) It sure doesn't look correct to me!! Hopefully if you get called in ( is it the Probation Dept?) you will have gone hours "without", and when you get called, just drink your water, and walk in with a smile :-) P.S. The reason I am able to go at least 8 hours is because my random urines happen at work, which is where I go in the mornings. If I'm out drinking the night before, I stop early, go home ~ eat ~ drink a large water before bed ~ wake up in the middle of the night "because I drank too much water before bed", drink another glass of water, and go back to sleep!
