Does AvG antivirus block trojan peacomm?

The trojan peacomm is attached to spammed E-mail. AVG free edition 7.5 is very good. I have it. Grisolt.com is where to download it from. You will need to uninstall your present anti-virus program before getting AVG.
Because AVG free edition does not have a firewall, from the same web site, you can get Spybot Search & Destroy for anti spyware. It's free, and also very good. I would be very surprised if AVG doesn't get rid of this trojan virus. The system will tell you how to put the virus in a vault which it can't get out of. Good luck. Those trojan viruses are a pain in the --------- neck !Source(s): I use both systems- no viruses, and no spyware on the computer. You need to get up dates for them both. I have the AVG set to download updates on start-up.

AVG is good software for the medium threat levels, most trojans we have found that they will remove but they always seam to sneak back on your system. For more information and some helpfull tips and ratings on they product you can visit our site and go under security center for details and links to other software, there we have a listing for a free antivirus program that works much better than AVG
If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me on the e-mail address on my site. Let me know how it goes!
