    I don't know about loose wait, but I think if you lose weight, your tongue stays the same. Why? Do you have a huge tongue and hope that when you drop some pounds your tongue will slim down too? ha.

    No, assuming you mean losing weight as in losing fat. The tongue has no adipose tissue, which is what stores fat. Therefore the tongue will not shrink if you lose fat. If you lose weight by dehydration or some other means, then yes, it could, though a minute amount.

    Your tongue is a muscle so it will not generally shrink with general weight loss.
