Hi, anyone knows a company where I can request a database for my job? I need a mailroom inventory database.

This sort of database is pretty common, so you should probably avoid paying someone to build something for you.

FileMaker comes with inventory databases you can customize:

Microsoft also has lots of templates for Access. They don't have an inventory database, but maybe the assets database would work for you?

It's rather a large question to answer. There are several open source online store projects (just as an example, like zencart) that you can download and check into their way of database design and management interface. They are mostly written in PHP.
