Doing a body cleansing....help please!?

I am struggling so bad with my weight.....i want to lose 40 to 50 lbs.

I just started a cleansing thing(how to be an it girl in 30 days guide is where i got this)...cant eat for 10 whole days...and this is only my first day...deffinatley want some food. But i am not giving in....i started this so i can lose at leat 10 lbs really fast by a month.

Just want to know......has n e other girls tried this? Have you really lost weight from it??

    Yes dear, I know quite a bit about it and I can tell you there are easier and healthier ways to achieve the results that you want. Did you know that it "could" be a parasite that is making it difficult for you to lose the weight? The dangerous part of the program you are on is that you could be messing with the level of healthy bacteria in your intestinal track which is necessary for one to maintain optimal health. A good cleanse is absolutely in order so yes in one respect you have the right idea. I personally recommend that you visit dr.natura at their dot com site. Just do a google or yahoo search and it will come up with A LOT of helpful information. Good Luck!!!

    Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. The body will do its own cleansing so long as u do not eat when not hungry.

    10 days is just long enough for your metabolism to adjust to any dietary change you make. So, when you start eating again, you'll gain the weight right back. Your body just adjusted to taking in no calories at all, and so it won't be able to burn the calories of a normal (or even a diet-size) meal.

    Oh. And I don't know about you, but I have some serious mood swings when I'm that hungry!

    This is not the way to proceed. The whole notion of body cleansing is pure bunk, and you should completely forget that you ever heard of it. What you need to do is to go on a diet deficient of your actual caloric consumption by 500 calories a day; this will lose you a pound a week, and can safely be continued indefinitely. Any combination of reduced caloric intake and increased exercise which adds up to that figure will work.

    your going to lose a lot of water weight at first....then it will come back on in a few days as soon as you start eating and you willget frustrated. nothing that ask you to NOT eat is good for you. bad diet...BUT i will tell you when i dieted i had only 1200 calories a day (i didnt worry about carbs/fats/sugars and crap like that) and drank a gallon of water a day....the pounds melted off and have been off for years! drink lots of water. water and fat dont mix. youll flush out your body and feel good. but you need to eat. its a math equation. if you go over your calories make sure you burn them off...walk 20 min a day if anything. after a while this will become just a way of living. and you wont wake up in the middle of the night because your eating you hand off. good luck, sweety! i know its tough but your worth it!

    Starving is not the answer. Your body needs food, is like fuel for a car. You can't go nowhere nor do anything. You need a good diet and exercise program. Cardio will help you to starting shed pounds and a healthy diet too. I personally do the South Beach Diet and try to work out on regular basis. Good luck!

    DONT DO IT!!! if you dont it your body feeds off of muscle and stuff!!! go to isagenix.com or somehting. me mom sells it and my dad just started a cleanse and he lost 5 pounds on the first day! it maybe different for you but peoplehave lost over 40 pounds (with exercise) you can either do a 30 day or a 9day. both are good. you can even sell this stuff naf make money by just telling people about it. well ye ai hope this helps! and if you need to eat just eat small portions. you need to be eating at least 5 times a day!!

    WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't do this to your self. BEEN THERE, DONE THAT. Are u over weight or think that you are? The best thing u can do if you ar overweight is to go to a Doctor and ask for help. There are things they can do to help you. REMEMBER whatever weight u loose fast, will came back faster and more. Been there. Don't go for drugs over the counter. Waist of money. Don't go for bs like this book. If u can't stick to something like THE ZONE, SOUTH BEACH DIET, WEIGHT WATCHER, then go to a Doc.

    if you dont eat for 10 days you will die, and not eating makes people gain weight. Where did you find this thingy? or did you read it wrong? im trying to lose weight to (im not a girl but...) but i didn't come across that.

    I haven't tried it, but just be careful when you do start eating again. You may just gain the weight back on.
