Travel in Tenerife, Canary Islands?
We're thinking of visiting Tenerife in the Canary Islands. We like hiking, history, active adventures. Any suggestions?

If you prefer "hiking, active adventures" I would recommend better the Island of La Palma in the Canary Archipelago. It´s more beautiful, the vegetation is richer and the volcanoes are impressive : Los tilos(great laurisilva) and Taburiente(with camping area and a lot of walking)
Of course Tenerife has it´s own attractive, in the north part and the Teide.
Hope you have fun.

In Tenerife you certainly can do such a thing you are feeling like any time of the entire year thanks to its environment, normal surroundings and tourist infrastructure created for fun for all the family so this place is the perfect area for a good vacation and with hotelbye you are certain to get it. In Tenerife are a lot of points waiting for you really to discover and one of those is in the south west coast of Tenerife. A spot that's a spectacular spot for seeing whales free in the ocean. As much as 26 species are observed just down the shore, including baleen whales, monster whales, dolphins, pilot whales and even blue whales. In Tenerife you may also see The Teide National Park. At 3,718 metres, Teide volcano is Spain's highest maximum and their two ecosystems produce the climb an experience packed with contrasts.

I understand there are daily ferries and also some internal flights. But why would you want to do that? They are basically the same as the main island of Tenerife, just a little less touristy.
