What's the matter ? 間接問句
我想請問一下
What's the matter with Jane ?
若改成間接問句,該怎麼改呢?!
是要改成 Can you tell me what is the matter with Jane ?
還是 Can you tell me what the matter is with Jane ?
或是 Can you tell me what the matter with Jane is ?
還是這3個都不是
(並請告訴我為什麼要這樣改)
那還有 What' wrong with Jane ?
和 What's the problem with Jane ?

要使用疑問副詞來寫直接問句:
1. what 當主詞:
The flower is beautiful.
What is beautiful? (不倒裝)
2. what 當補語或受詞.
Tom is a student(補).
What is Tom? (倒裝句. 就是主詞在動詞之後)
Tom has a book(受).
What does Tom have? (倒裝)
若是要改為間接問句(即原來的問句成為從屬子句):
1. Can you tell me what is beautiful? (前半部倒裝)
2. Can you tell me what Tom is? (後半改為直述)
3. Can you tell me what Tom has? (後半改為直述)
所以原則就是: 疑問句最多只須倒裝一次.
Can you tell me what(補) the matter is with Jane?
Can you tell me what(補) the problem is with Jane?
Can you tell me what(主) is wrong with Jane?

Can you tell me what the matter is with Jane ? 才是正確的
因為間接問句不可倒裝, 所以 主詞+動詞+主詞補語
此句英語雖對有些人聽起來有點不習慣,但文法是正確的

三句都是「Jane是怎麼搞的?」的意思
我是覺得可以改成
Do you know what's the matter with Jane?
你知道JANE到底怎麼了嗎?
上面那三句好像都不太對
