You´ve got planes every hour from Tenerife to La Palma, twice a day to La Gomera, and 5 times to El Hierro.

You have also ferries, once a day to el hierro, 4 times to la gomera and once a day to La Palma (the one that goes to la Palma stops in La Gomera) - if you are not used to traveling by ship I don´t recommend it, as the sea is quite bad in that part - even on good days.

For tourism I would recommend you La Palma. Great vegetation and volcanoes. Great for long walk and very quiet. Less touristic that Tenerife. Cheep food, great quality.

I understand there are daily ferries and also some internal flights.

But why would you want to do that? They are basically the same as the main island of Tenerife, just a little less touristy.
