I just had my second prenatal visit and my doctor inform me that I am one week off of my due date?

My cycle was in August 2006. By my calculation I'm due in June 13, 2007. So when am I due.

They base your due date on the size of the embryo and it may change several times, so don't worry too much.

Two women who had their last period on the same date may ovulate at different times, have different sized embryos/fetuses and have different due dates.

However, if your last cycle was in August, I don't see how you've approximated a due date of June 13th for yourself. Attached is a link where you can put in the first day of your last period, the day you think you ovulated, or your due date and work it any way you want.

For a due date of June 13th, your last cycle would have started approximately on September 6th.

My due date changes with each ultrasound. If it is a week off then it would be June 20, 2007 or June 6, 2007 depending on which way you are off. Without knowing your LMP date I can not tell you exactly.

It happens, because some women ovulate at different times. Mine was off by two weeks and this was only found out because they couldn't find the heartbeat when I was supposed to be 14 weeks, so I was sent for an ultrasound and found out that I was only 12 weeks. I think that once you have an ultrasound you will know for sure. I was due June 9th now its the 22nd.

My sincere apologies to you for this tragic situation. Typically it is never a good idea to take too much time off from employment during "probation" period. In said period I'm sure there is a clause that stipulates such. During this time they wany to see how consistent and reliable you are. After that six months time, after having been determined a good employee, you will be offered benfits and health care. Furthermore you will have more protection from being terminated. Your circumstance involving your sister is an extreme case and will most likely be accepted by your supervisor as legitimate. Technically he could terminate your position but for your sake he most likely will not. Even bosses can have a heart once every now and then. (: As a sales rep each day you aren't there is another day their products do not properly get represened and incidentally potentially loss of profit for that company. Again, your case involves your sister and it is quite serious and as such I am confident you will be excused for one week without any penalty.. I really hope your sister gets better. God speed.

Everyone else is right, I had my period for my daughter on september 5 and I was told I conceived semptember 20...She was born June 11. My due date was June 15.If you had your period in august then your due date would be the end of June.

  • my wheel like at the dr's office says if you are due june 13th you conceived your baby on or around sept 19th...your last period would have been sept 5th. your dr is probably right about you due date. don't stress so much over it its no really that big of a deal. not a week becuz they will be off sometimes. once you get an ultrasound done they will be abl to tell you better. you are 17 weeks and one day if your due date is correct.

  • First day of last menstrual period: September 5, 2006

Estimated date of conception: Tuesday, September 19, 2006

End of 1st trimester (12 weeks): Tuesday, November 28, 2006

End of 2nd trimester (27 weeks): Tuesday, March 13, 2007

Estimated Due Date: June 12, 2007

I done the above at http://www.mybirthcare.com/calculator by putting in the first day of your last period.

    Good luck and Congrats!!!

My due date changed 3 times before it went back to the original one. The best bet is to calculate from teh first day of your last menstrual period.

Hmmm lets see, June 13. Isnt that what your doctor told you? Why cant people just take their doctors word, they are the ones educated in the Field not you.

Due dates always very and always change. So dont be surprised if it changes again. They only ask for your last cycle to get a rough estimite. So dont worry when something changes its normal
