What books should The Dude read now?

Book recommendations? Perhaps a novel that literary snobs publicly decry but secretly love?

The purpose driven life...pretty interesting even if you're not into that. (Got an online version for a buck too...let my 'puter read it to me! LOL)

My husband is currently reading "Wild Fire" by Nelson DeMille.

He says it's pretty good so far.

For Christmas I got this huge nicely bound collection of Jane Austen, The Complete Novels...probably a little girly and romantic for The Dude!

I recommend, Driven by Eternity, by John Bevere. There is a set of 4 Cd's that go along with it that are fabulous. The Cd's are an allegory and the book adds much more.

I am ashamed of how much I loved The Girl Next Door, but it is brutal.
