Does anyone know the statistic for how text translates to spoken word?
I'm looking for the statistic on how many pages of written text it takes for a 5 hours worth of speech. Basically, if a speech were transcribed, what is the ratio of minutes of speech to the number of type-written pages?

Depends upon how the speaker presents it. If there will be lots of practical examples then it will take a lesser time. For a 5 hour speech, it may come from 500 pages of text, if the speaker talks only of the content of the text, but if personal experiences, not found in the text are included, then the pages could be somewhere between 300-360 pages.
