When a guy says that there was nothing wrong with dating each other, just that he doesnt want to be together?

right now, does that mean he wants to be friends longer first and see what happens? We did things that we shouldnt have because we did a lot of foreplaying. Is that why he doesnt want to date? We only dated for nine days and I wanted more. Whats going on?

Hello Elizabeth, it seems to me that this this guy is just taking advantage of your wanting more from him. If he is just dating you - he should be trying to get to know you better before he decides to indulge in foreplay. His "doesn't want to be together" is saying that he wants to date you - indulge in foreplay but have room to see/date other people. I don't think he is serious about you and if you are looking for a deep relationship - look eslewhere.

Wrong... no. You are only a pedophile if there is sex involved. Agree to wait until she is 18 before you consider it, then there will be no problem. Actually, if that is your plan, her parents should be happy and might probably be supportive. Honestly, it will be mostly pressure on you to continue this relationship, you will meet a lot of girls in college. You have only been together a few months so at this point it is a short-run relationship but it could be a forever relationship if that is what you both want and are willing to work for. That is true for any relationship. Anyone who has been married any length of time can tell you that marriage is where the real work starts. BTW, two years when you are 17 and 15 seems like a lot now but when you are 23 and she is 21, the difference is not even worth noting and as you get older that difference evaporates entirely. Bottom line: A college degree is a function of how bad do you want it and similarly, a successful relationship is a function of how hard you BOTH are willing to work for it.

Tough question. When I was sixteen I remember dating a girl who was a year younger than I who allowed me to explore parts of her body that frankly scared me. In many ways it sounds like your boyfriend is afraid of what has happened between you two and is even more afraid of what might happen.

It's kind of like that movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Remember the girl who worked at the pizza place and ended up with the guy from the theatre and the last scene indicated he still hadn't slept with her. Maybe that's what your involve in.

Give him a chance if you care about him. Don't pressure him for more, but try to keep it casual. If he's interested he'll respond to gentle hints. Adolescence is a scary time. Maybe you can help each other through it. If not, remember girls tend to be more mature than boys, there are lots of other boys out there.

From my perspective as an old fart, it's nice to see a girl who is sensitive and interested in working at a relationship.

    Good luck and God bless.

Okay this is the best advice your gonna get. It means he wants all the benefits of a girlfriend but he doesn't want the drawbacks like not being able to see other girls. It sounds like to me that he doesn't respect you enough to be with you or that he just doesn't see you guys together seriously. I would say you go out there have fun and dont give this guy alot of attention just act cool and worry about what makes you happy and not worry about what this clown is thinking. You will be alot happier when your single if you go out have fun and not wait around for guys to make up their minds. almost 21 and married.

Don't be so needy and want to go further in the relationship level - Keep going as it is, he'll come around - Being to needy or mentioning to go further in the relationship will only scare him away, especially after only 9 days - Just go with the flow, 9 days is a bit soon to go all exclusive, he may not be ready for that

Maybe he got what he came for & that's all he wanted. Could he be a player? Move on & find someone who wants a real relationship if that is what you really want also.

He liked the action but won't commit. I think that's what his crafty little statement means. Don't wait for him, find someone who isn't going to play games.
