what a lot of people neglect to say is that the part of the skin that is removed has a lot of nerve endings in it. That, coupled with literally a lifetime of the head rubbing against the underwear causes circumsized men to have far less feeling in ther penis than uncircumsized men.

Circumcision is the cutting away of the skin that covers the glans (head) of the penis. Contrary to what many answerers have said, this skin is not "extra" - it is an important part of the body that protects the glans from friction and trauma and provides sexual pleasure. Removing it is genital mutilation and should be considered child abuse.

Clipping the extra skin off of the penis. It is mostly done to babies since they have no feeling in that area, but adults who where never circumsized can have it done. Though it will hurt like hell since they can feel it.

When they circumsize a male that means the cut away the excess skin that covers the head of the penis.

Circumcision means the cutting round and removal of the foreskin from the male penis. It is a very beneficial procedure which provides better hygiene, comfort appearance, self-esteem and FAR better sex for both the man and his female partner(s) All men should be circumcised!

Source(s): Personal experience as a man who chose to be circumcised as an adult

It's an unnecessary cosmetic procedure by which the skin which protects the gland of an infant males penis is cut off. Usually done without anesthetic.

it's the removal of the foreskin on the penis (the skin that covers the head of the penis) and it is usually done at birth. I agree that it is done for sanitary reasons and religious reasons for some..........why the thumbs down for everyone? They're giving you a correct answer.

a man gets circumized usually at birth. Men are born with skin that comes over the tip of the penis and they cut it off so that there is no excess skin coming over it . Its done because its more sanitary and keeps infections down.

it is removing the for-skin off the tip of the penis. medically it believed to be healthier and prevent infection. it is also removed for religious beliefs. for example a Jewish male is circumcised when he is 8 days old and it is called a bris

alot of jewish males do it because it part of there religon and it was one of the commandments, what they do is when a baby boy has been born for 8 days the father calls some one up to do this circumsision, a little pray esc, then that person removes its foreskin, 1. because its in there religon

    2. for health reasons

i have learnt about this in my rs lesson i had to watch a video and it was very disturbing.
