    My maximum (based on total contribution) is $2400 per month if I retire at age 70

    BTW: I've always contributed the maximum.

    The mas as of now is about $3300 a month i fyou earned the max every year. I know of one guy who just retired and he gets 2200 a month and has been working sence he was 16 and was usually low on the pay scale but regular in earnings.

    The maximum if im correct is about 1500.00 a month and that was last year..

    I think that they go by what you have paid in for 4 quarters.
