We're taking the hobbits to isengaard, to isengaard,to isengaard?

  • Because you are obeying Sarumans' commands. You have no clue that the One Ring was in the party, and there's no way Saruman would have told you that. But orcs aren't totally stupid, and your leader was able to piece together that the hobbits might be carrying an "elvish weapon" for the war. At this time Saruman wants the One Ring for himself, so his orcs are commanded not to turn the hobbits over to the Mordor Orcs. Given that Saruman had delusions of claiming the Ring and becoming the new Lord of the Rings, he would have not let the Mordor orcs leave Isengard to report back to Sauron at any rate. Once the Mordor orcs were in Isengard they would have been annihilated.
