If you are old enough to remember on the VHS VCR's that they

had a 2-4- or 6 hour mode, meaning you could get 6 hours of video on a 2 hour tape....the only problem is the playback quality goes down. Similar to what you are experiencing with your digital camera. How many pictures you get to fit on a digital Memory Card is a matter of 2 factors....1) how big is the memory card

and 2) what is the RESOLUTION SETTING.

If you set the resoltion or image setting to its highest setting, you will get the highest quality images suitable for printing, but you wont get as many photos to fit on the card, as if the images setting was set to the lowest setting.

Here is the bottom line: The secret to getting a photo realistic

8x10 print is to make sure your image setting is set to a MINIMUM of 1200 x 1600.... if you use a resolution lower than that, you will not get decent prints. Just remember 1200x1600 or higher and you will never be disapointed with your prints again!

You should set your camera up to shoot in the highest quality available.

In REC mode, go to the Menu...On the 'Quality' Tab select 'Size'...then press the right arrow, then use the up and down arrows to select your image size (that would be...7M Fine).

    and then press 'SET'.
