can i recharge my Ni-Mh battery with my deluxe Ni-Cd battery charger?

Unless your charger states that you can charge Ni-mh batteries I don't suggest you do it, you run the risk of blowing up the batteries and damaging the charger...that is why it is printed on the back side the type of batteries you can charge. Trust me, a blown up battery makes a nice mess of your charger.

most ni-cd chargers have the ability to charge ni-mh batteries but it must have a specific mode for them as they have different charging requirements

some of the new chargers do both ... check the charger if it only says one type you can only charge one type
