New Years Eve and a laptop...?

I accidently spilled a bit of Jack Daniels and Coke and my boyfriends laptop. We stupidly tried to turn it back on and it worked fine for hours and now it boots up but freezes when we try to get on the internet. Did I screw it up completely? Should we let it sit for a few days?

yes the best bet is to let it sit for a day or 2 and let it completely dry out. then i should be ok if no damage was done by you rebooting it. I think your boyfriend should cut you off :) Happy New Year

Well, you need to let this keyboard dry out and sober up. Seriously, the JD and Coke didn't help the keyboard, between the alcohol and the carbonated water in Coke, the poor laptop needs time.

Let it dry out for several days and try again, but if it was turned on while it was wet, something is probably fried.
