how do you change the guitar pickups to another ones?

i bought some new pickups for my guitar so they will sound

better ( seymour duncan sh2 and sh 4) but dont know how to

put them on. need some help

    Hopefully you have some experience with soldering... pickups don't simply plug in.

    If you don't know how to do it I would strongly recommend that you take it to a repair shop who can do it for you. It is relatively easy to do but is also easy to ruin your pickups.

    You're going to need to open up the electronics cavity on your guitar and find out on which potentiometer the original pickups were soldered onto. Then just take out the old pickups by heating the point where it's soldered and then solder the new ones in their place. Not too tough.
