how do I start talking using pc to pc ?

Takes a mic and speakers, you use the message id to call the computer. If you have audio set up right, it rings and you answer it like a phone. Call mine if you want. You open the contact card and hit the phone symbol. Provided you have a valid Yahoo ID.
