Cats, dogs, ferrets, raccoons, skunks, foxes, wolves, coyotes, bears, bats, and horses can become rabid. Squirrels, chipmunks, other rodents (except beavers), and rabbits are very seldom infected.

Rabies only affects mammals, so Chickens cannot get it.

Any warmblooded animal can get rabies. Some warmblooded animals are more prone to carrying rabies than others but if they are warmblooded and they get bit or scratched by an animal that is infected with rabies they too can get rabies and that includes cows and pigs.

Chickens get FOWL. Cows get MAD. Pigs just go HOG WILD.
