The coolest Christmas present I have ever received was the present i got this year. I'm an Aussie who is currently traveling around North America and when I started my journey I was planning on spending Christmas with a friend but than some stuff happened and she kicked me out - leaving my plans for Christmas unknown. I ended up at a hostel in Ottawa and the people here put on a Christmas dinner for us and had presents for each of us staying here. I got a little beanie bear that says "Welcome to Canada", and to see the kindness of strangers, people who I had only meet a couple of days earlier have presents for everyone meant a lot & turned what could have been a sad day being away from my family, into one of my most memorable Christmas's ever.

    sorry if this is long.

The coolest present I received for christmas is one last holiday with my sister before cancer took her life early. We knew she was dieing so we knew we had to make the best of it and we did. I would not have given up that final time with her for the world, though the memories are painful.

The best present I ever recieved by far is my Dell Inspiron 640m notebook. I am using it right now. It has a dual core processor, CD/DVD burner, and wireless internet. The gretest thing I ever did with it, was saving a teenage girl's life with just a few simple Google searches and keystrokes. She was getting harassed, and I gave her some tips on how to report him and how to stop him from IM'ing her. If you'd like, you can see the full story on www.freewebs.com/courtoreillejm. Click on "News & Information" at the top, and once you're there, scroll to the bottom until you find a header, saying, "Act Of Heroism".

  • A karaoke machine. I was recently disabled by a drunk driver and before that i would always go sing karaoke. I was the only one drinking soda there cuz i went to sing not drink. Well since the accident i cant do that anymore and had to move in with my ex because i couldnt work and had to file disability and he didnt want me homeless. He bought me a karaoke machine so i can sing karaoke anytime i wanted from home. It was my fave thing to do.
