Is it illegal?

To shoot fire crackers in the city limits?

    Depends on the city, but generally yes it is illegal unless you have a permit.

    It depends on your own city's ordinances. Each city makes their own rules. You can call your city officials to find out what the ordinance is on shooting off fire crackers.

    It depends on whether there is an ordinance making it illegal.

    yes it is,,but it is hard to catch you once you set them off, unless you have neighbors who call and complain and point you out as the person using them-might get a ticket for breaking the law-noise ordinance,setting off illegal fireworks,etc...
