When a guy uses xox like at the end of a greeting to a female friend -is that considered girlie or feminine?

    No it means hugs and kisses without all the writing.

    Ha!...yeah mate.Its bloody smooth is what it is- specially when your come across as a real rough bloke and give her a bit of xox in a text- drives the ladies crazy...use the stuff all the time mate!!

    It looks like something a myspace using 14 year old girl might put in. It does look a bit feminine, its up to you whether that bothers you or not.

    I guess I'm a "girlie man" then...my best friend and wife get xoxoxo's in her texts and emails from me regularly. I think it's a fine signoff to a significant other.
