will lemon cut alcohol level in beer?


i heard the acid in the lemon will cut the alcohol in the beer

    Lemon wedges are added as a garnish or as an accent to wheat beers. As far as lowering the alcohol content? It does nothing. Cheers!

    If you dilute a beer containing 3.2% alcohol with lemon juice, 12 ounces of each, the resulting horrible drink will have an alcohol content of 1.6%. No magic.

    Nope, but the tang from the lemon might disguise the taste of the alcohol a bit...

    Works particularly well with Hefeweizen...

    no wont cut the alchol content but it will alter the flavor usually for the worse
