Since you deleted Dell Media, I am presuming that the computer is a Dell.

The best thing for you to do (imho) is to call Dell Technical Support; they will be more than happy to help you with reinstalling the software or direct you to the best course of action.

(Note: you may be requested to register ownership of the computer if you haven't already done so).

Alternately, if it is a fairly new system (meaning that you haven't put anything too important on the system), you could simply use the reinstall disk to reset the system to its original configuration. (If, of course, you have the reinstall disk).

    1. Call Dell and Ask for help!

    2. Use the system CD that came originally with your computer and do a partial install!

    3. Do a system restoration.

Do a system restore to before you deleted the dell media start up. system restore/recovery should be in your "all programs." that should work, but if you don't want to do that call free dell tech support.

If you did the best thing, you have a warranty, just call say you were trying to deleted something else and opppps wrong thing, that's the best you can do. Or try to reinstall it.
