he is 16 . . . .?

my friend is 16 . .do you think that it is safe for him to remove the training wheels off his bike. i think so but he wont listen to me. . please help.

    You know what at 16 I think its time here's a way to tell if hes ready, raise them to max height (if they aren't already) if the wheels are only touching when he's cornering they are completely redundant, if he still needs them for balance in a straight line hes gonna need to keep them.

    it all depends on him. he can remove the training wheels when he is comfortable or tired of getting made fun of for having training wheels still.

    He should only remove them when he feel confident that he is ready. Don't rush him - someone could get hurt...
