    Listen to Pink Floyd songs:

    1. Comfortably Numb

    2. Wish You Were Here

    3. Time

    Hello,

    Is there anybody in there

Just nod if you can hear me

    Is there anyone at home

    Come on now

    I hear you're feeling down

    I can ease your pain

And get you on your feet again

    Relax

    I'll need some information first

    Just the basic facts

Can you show me where it hurts

There is no pain, you are receding

A distant ship smoke on the horizon

You are coming through in waves

Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying

    When I was a child I had a fever

My hands felt just like two balloons

Now I've got that feeling once again

I can't explain, you would not understand

This is not how I am

    I have become comfortably numb

    O.K.

    Just a little pin prick

    There'll be no more aaaaaaaah!

But you may feel a little sick

    Can you stand up?

I do believe it's working, good

That'll keep you going through the show

Come on it's time to go.

There is no pain you are receding

A distant ship smoke on the horizon

You are only coming through in waves

Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying

    When I was a child

    I caught a fleeting glimpse

Out of the corner of my eye

I turned to look but it was gone

I cannot put my finger on it now

    The child is grown

    The dream is gone

    And I have become

    Comfortably numb.

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,

    blue skies from pain.

Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil?

Do you think you can tell?

And did they get you trade your heroes for ghosts?

Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze?

Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange

a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here.

We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl,

    year after year,

running over the same old ground. What have we found?

    The same old fears,

    wish you were here.

I think the majority of the answers are correct - you may have depression. It is nothing to be ashamed of, and you should talk to you family doctor about it. If you are young enough that your parents make your doctors appointments, talk to them about it. If it is depression, it will probably get worse unless treated.

Many people have or have had depression. The medicines today work very well in making you feel good. If you do get medicine, you will start to feel better in a day or two. Continue taking the medicine as prescribed by the doctor, as if you stop taking it, you will have a relapse (go back into the depression again).

Once again, it is nothing to be ashamed of, and can be treated easily.

Please, take this advice quickly so you can start to enjoy 2007 like the rest of us.

Shelby, you may be "Sugar Sensitive" (even if you don't like "sugar"). I used to be just like you--for years! And now, just by eating 3 meals a day with protein, compex carbs and veggies, I no longer cry every day--I'm a lot happier.

I think maybe you need medical intervention here. You sound as if you are chronically depressed and you don't have to feel like this. See a doctor. He or She can discuss your options with you. If they suggest you take drugs for a while..do it...everyone needs a crutch at some point in their life..maybe now it's your turn.

You don't mention your age, but I'm guessing that you are pretty young. Growing up is often stressful. It is part of the learning mechanism. Once you learn to focus on only the important things, then you will let the silly things pass you by.

Source(s): Start by asking yourself,"Can they eat me?" If they can't, then you can ignore that problem and go on!

This could be why your not having your period, either. Severe depression will upset your biological balance and hormones. Get to a Doctor and let him know whats going on, even if its just a general practictioner! Tell him about your period and your crying and depression, please!!! For your own sake, it will help!

Also, if he puts you on medication and you start feeling better, keep taking it! Many people get off it when they feel better, but its WHY they feel better!
