what do you guys think about this graphite artwork i did? i only used graphite?

i need honest opinions. they are pretty big 39"x29" and 18"x26" some light shadeing is lost due to scanning but i think you can see it good enough

    Some very beautiful work. I love the mixture of realism and abstract. This is great work that would be fit for some of the more cerebral independent comic books being printed. Most indie comic art sucks, to be frank. But this reminds me a lot of Dave Mack, Dave McKean and the like.

    I really like the hair of the lady in the first listed picture. Graphite - you did well! My brother also thought the picture was cool (he did not see the second one).

    The first one was really freaky!....thgere was too much goin on...

    but i liked the second one

    keep workin on them..

    they need some more work..

    If this is all your work, and if it is all graphite....you have a fantastic career ahead of you in fine art or commercial art...go for it!!!!!!

    my first thought is that it can't be just graphite. unless you altered the work after it was scanned?

    nevertheless, they are interesting compositions.
