Wouldn't living in a tent in the desert be a better option?

Isolation, and time to get your thoughts together, time to find out that there are more solutions?

It may seem an option at the moment, but look at it through your kids eyes...... will they ever recover?

This is what got me through my depression, and it even helped me to finally leave my wife. Not quite the same, but similar.

I never did use that tent, but knowing the option was there really helped.

For your kids sake, I hope you change your mind.

Rob C - Your heart is going to heal and you are going to be stronger than before. I know because I have been there. Take a walk. Talk to God and tell Him everything. That is what He wants His kids to do. Come back and read other people's answers tonight and you will be guided to the one that will ring a bell for you. Tomorrow is a new day, NOT an old one. Remember, you can kick evil thoughts out whenever you want, because you have power over them, and many people are praying, so relax and live long. You are going to love again here on earth, and it is God's love that keeps us all going. Life is good! See you tomorrow!

WHOA UP Rob C !!!!!! What are you wanting to forgiveness for? And what are you meaning by "done"? Hey Pal I hope you ain't thinking what I think you are planning to do. For one thing, the key word is "KIDS" your kids and they need their father even if you aren't with their mother! 30 yrs ago I went through a divorce and was devistated to put it the least. If ever you needed courage it is the courage to "carry on for the kids:" A suicide will leave a stigma on them the rest of their lives and they don't need anymore stress to an already stressful situationLook in the phonebook for suicide hotlines or go to a church as all of them are having New Years eve parties and services and RUN DO NOT WALK TO ONE NOW!!! Hey I know it feels like your world has come to an end cause your soon to be ex is exiting . You will find love again I guarentee it !!Many millions of us guys have even found one better than what we had. Women are a dime a dozen out there and if I was by you I would flip you a fifty cent piece and say "Go get em' Tiger!!!!! Hey PAL ,e-mail me at I got yahoo instant messaging too so we can talk about this . In fact I know this girl across the street from me and she is a single mother (and good lookin' too if ya like blondes) My friend brownsugarr, is hot and also looking for a man. So ,PLEASE ,PLEASE dont !!! In fact after becoming single I realized my ex wasn't really the girl for me. In fact a few month's back my grandson said something about grammadebi and I said "who?" and my daughter reminded me it was my ex wife ,her mother, remember Dad? "Oh , yea ,sorry!! I had the same blues you are having now and "BOY am I glad I never did it cause I would have left my kids with a warped sense of 'Was it our fault Dad killed himself? Because I have heard many stories from people ,young people who carry that burden today

Source(s): Every time thoughts of her pop in your head say "NO" and think about something else like that sportscar or motorcycle you always wanted to get and then go get it!!!!

Who's to say she's even worth it? Is losing your own life (as I assume you are saying) and damaging your kids for the rest of their lives really want you want to do?

Life hands you a lemon, forget the lemonade and go look for something sweeter in life.

P.S. I did not just make a nice donation to this hotline 1-800-SUICIDE (784-2433) in memory of a loved one for no reason. I wish he did not go through with will never be the same... If you are serious, USE IT, the number I mean. Put my donation to good use, in the memory of the one I lost, and for the sake of yourself and especially your kids.

P.P.S. The one I lost...definitely SOUL MATE as far as I am concerned. And there is no chance he can come back. I barely held on for a long time...just turned 3 years. If I can make it through this, you will be all day at a time.

  • Don't kill yourself, Nothing is worth that. My son has gone through that many different times (breaking -up and thinking nothing compares to this break-up).. From my personal experiences you get completely over most love lost in 2 years. It may take a life time to forget the damage or regret in your heart.

Be brave, kiss the kids and then go to a Sports bar you won't be alone..

Romans 6:9, Psalms 37, God is faithful to keep you in perfect peace who's mind is stayed on HIM! And not on that women..

Look you are not the only one with a deep Hurt.

There are Millions with problems Man can"t solve.

Man a believer although sick and Dying is out of Hospitat to encourage youth. One week later dead.Same family Sister a Dear Believer never complaning, about two months later passed away. The Mother still Faithfull to God and hasn"t lost Her smile.

Sometimes observing this puts things in right focus. My advice look real close their is someone who needs your help,I believe you know or will know soon.Call on Jesus that is what He Does.

I was suicidal as a child, but I discovered that when I simply held onto life that it always got better. Please, stay with us? Maybe you have something fulfilling in your future. Why give her the power of God over you, just because she rejected you. If you feel that you can't stand the pain, call 911 and ask for help, and be honest--or call the hospital and ask for help, and tell them you're suicidal. Killing yourself will not hurt her--it will destroy your children's father! They need you. Don't do that to their experience of their Daddy. Lost love always has the emotions of a profound death to it, and you can get beyond the grieving process--just hang on for the long haul.

I know thing are rough now and seem impossible but give it until morning, rethink and relax. If you really need someone to talk to, and it seems like you do call a local crisis center or suicide hot line. Hope to hear from you in the new year.

SHoney slow down. Firsit of all, you said you have children. Where will they be without you? You should not be that selfish. You are crying about you not having love, and you are going to leave those children with out a father? VERY SELFISH. Second, you need to love yourself, and Jesus can help you do that. Believe me I know. I wanted to die too. For different reasons, but that doesn't matter. Jesus helped me find love, for self, and then for others. I have people who really love me now. Get on your knees right now, and ask Jesus to love you enough, until you can love yourself. God Bless you.

Call me, Rob. You have my number. Do what is right. There is a future for you, even when you cannot see it. You are blinded by sadness, but that is not the full or permenant picture. This takes time and support from people.
