Likely free is not going to happen. You can :

    -surfcontrol big bucks

-individual copies of net nanny or similar

-buy MS ISA server which can then be used as a proxy.

You can always go to the pc and look at their logs. That for most users will be a way of checking up on them. Most users won't have a clue how to empty the logs.

If it's your business you can do what you want. I don't like it, but it's pretty common now a days. Be sure with your staff that they know that you have the legal right to monitor them.

if you're asking to visual demonstrate unit pcs linked to a community by a router without each person else understanding then no there is not. once you've a server computing gadget which all of us logs into earlier they could get entry to the internet then sure, or you may merely load some secret agent software on each computing gadget and verify the logs that way.

That software is not free unless it's in a trial version. WebSense is one that will do that and more but, of course, it isn't free. Good Luck!
