It works well if you're doing it in a sauna or someplace that has extreme heat because if you're not sweating and your heart rate isn't up then you're just wasting time.

Not very. It's better than nothing but doesn't compare with actual jogging.

Its a good thing for warmups but it doesnt do much but prepare you legs for a workout. Or to cool down.
