Has anyone heard of a bittersweet ceremony at a wedding, or how its suppose to go?

    No idea but the song at http://www.fairplaymusicalgifts.com/ samples page shows how it could be bittersweet for the parents

    My guess would be some type of memorial type ceremony to honor those friends or loved ones who are no longer alive to physically be at the wedding. I know many tend to light special candles or place a small bouquet of flower in the places or empty chairs in the front seats of the pews. Worse comes to worse you could always ask one of your relatives or your fiancee`s. That's my only guess on what it is.
